Caribbean MedTech new office opening 2021

We opened our first office in the Caribbean!

Countries are always looking into improving human health and providing access to affordable, high-quality health. It is not just an ethical and social imperative; it is also a necessary ingredient for the long-term sustainable development of our economies and societies. Without access to health care, people are at much greater risk.

Dual health systems predominate in the Caribbean, involving both the public and private sectors. The public sector, represented by the Ministries of Health, is in charge of the provision of services, the generation of resources, the leadership, and the financing of the health sector. On the other hand, the private sector generally supports the provision of health services and the raising of funds. Currently the majority of medical equipment suppliers are from the United States; for this reason, we, Caribbean MedTech, have decided to represent European suppliers, in order to have state-of-the-art medical equipment and thus be able to improve the condition of the Caribbean health system.

Determined to help the Caribbean islands to improve their health systems by incorporating medical devices with state-of-the-art European technology, Caribbean MedTech have opened our door at Av. Simón Bolívar, Residencial El Trébol, Suite 102, La Esperilla, Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic. We position ourselves as innovative and educational providers of true solutions to the end users and in that way, provide better healthcare for patients.

We have a very well prepared team made up of both national and international talent. We look forward to welcoming more people to our team who share our passion for improving the healthcare system.

Our goal is to improve efficiency in the Caribbean healthcare system by delivering high-end medical equipment. In order to achieve this, we are determined to become the best team for the distribution of medical supplies.

What are your business goals for this and next year?

“This year we are introducing a number of new technologies to the Caribbean markets. We are focusing on temperature management in anesthesia, vascular access in neonates as well as visualization products for urology. This means that we are gearing up on talent and business partners. Every month we add more resources to the Caribbean Medtech family.  Our key objectives is to improve work flow and optimize patient care in the mentioned areas. We achieve this by adding both new medical technology, but also educating medical staff in best possible application.”
